Founded in 1919, the Tulare County Fair has been a yearly occurrence in Tulare for the past 87 years. The fair currently resides on 68 acres south of downtown Tulare, on the Corner of Bardsley and K st's. With 8 buildings, with over 64,000 square feet, and 8 barns with over 1000,000 square feet of covered livestock showcase, the Tulare COunty Fair, is busy 365 days a year hosting events of all types. In 2007 the Tulare County fairgrounds was host to over 300 different events, highlighted by the annual County Fair in September. With over 100,000 guests visiting the Fair every year, it is the largest local celebration within the County of Tulare. Providing fun, affordable family entertainment in Tulare's backyard, as well as offering a showcase of local talent and industry, and providing education of Tulare's diverse agricultural industry, are the key goals of the Fair. This years 2008 Tulare County Fair, will mark its 87th year in operation, and the 84th fair in Tulare. Don't miss out September 10th-14th, 2008.

Yes, the Tulare County Fair has one of the largest livestock shows in California. With over 1,000 entries of all different species, this is one of the highlights of the annual fair.
